In 2024, we have received a total of 962 reports from the public, and through the taxonomic analyses of these data we have made the following exciting discoveries: the Asian tiger mosquito (Aedes albopictus) was observed on 399 occasions, the Japanese bush mosquito (Ae. japonicus) 15, and the Korean mosquito (Ae. koreicus) 20 times, while we received samples on other native mosquito in 115 instances.
